🟩Introduction

Brix Chain is a decentralized, open-source public blockchain that is energy-efficient, high-speed, and cost-effective. Designed to support the creator economy with Web3 applications such as DeFi and GameFi, Brix ultimately serves as foundational infrastructure for an open metaverse. Brix aims to serve the next billion Web3 users and help them experience the full promise of self-sovereign digital asset ownership.

Brix is an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible blockchain supported by Ethermint and built with SDKs that support the Brix Blockchain Communication (BBC) protocol. As a result, end-users can import cryptocurrency from ERC-20 and other compatible chains to Brix and subsequently use, trade, or invest in it through innovative smart contract-based protocols, leveraging the rich Ethereum/Solidity ecosystem. Applications and smart contracts can be quickly migrated from Ethereum and other EVM-compatible chains.

Brix is fast, cost-effective, and barrier-free. Brix aims to deliver high transaction throughput (ranging from hundreds to thousands of transactions per second), rapid transaction finalization (5–6 seconds), and low transaction costs (from a few cents to a few cents). The Proof of Authority (PoA) consensus mechanism combines decentralization with efficient, scalable, and environmentally friendly transaction processing. Brix can offer cheaper transactions compared to Ethereum’s mainnet, making decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts potentially more affordable, carbon-neutral, and user-friendly.
