🟩Connectivity and Interoperability
Users can transfer BRX-20 tokens to and from other chains that support the Brix Blockchain Communication (BBC) protocol in a decentralized manner. Transfers are confirmed by validators, ensuring the same level of security as other transactions on the Brix Chain.
Additional BBC features and channels will be introduced, including:
Cross-Chain Accounts: This module will allow accounts on the Brix Chain to securely control accounts on other BBC-compatible chains and initiate transactions on their behalf.
Relayer Incentives: This module will enable BBC bridge relayer operators to charge end-users flexibly, improving the economic viability of the bridge. Consequently, the number of relayers between Brix Chain and other BBC-compatible chains is expected to increase.
Interchangeable Token Standards: This module will support the transfer of NFTs between Brix Chain and other NFT-supporting chains.
EVM Packages via BBC: This module will allow Brix Chain users to interact with smart contract proxies on other EVM-compatible blockchains.
Architecture
Sentry Node Architecture: Sentry nodes are used to mitigate the risk of DDoS attacks. They function similarly to full nodes but connect through one or more peers, which can be validators or nodes. Sentry nodes act as a protective layer, similar to frontend/backend separation. In the event of a DDoS attack, multiple dynamically scalable Sentry nodes make it more challenging to affect validator nodes.
